Moose

Please visit the FINE ART GALLERY information page to learn more about purchasing prints and products of my fine art images.

This special portfolio is dedicated to all my moose-loving friends out there. The roots of my obsession with them seem to be twofold. First, a trip to Maine, Canada and all around the area, on my first ever road trip back in 1993, was peppered with Moose signs, but no moose. I left disappointed. Second, in late June 2000, while hiking out of Grand Teton National Park’s Death Canyon after hiking in to camp the night before, I came upon my first ever moose – and they were hanging out right on the trail back to the parking lot. There was a juvenile bull moose and three cows and it was a waiting game to part ways safely, which eventually happened. They were frightening and fabulous and I was hooked for life.
