Fine Art Print Information

— Alas, I need to update this page, but will be happy to assist you in purchasing any of my fine art images. On occasion (such as at the time of writing this), I allow my inventory to deplete at my Etsy Shop, but orders may always be placed directly through me. —

Please visit my Etsy Shop or use the form below to submit an inquiry for Fine Art Print. You will always find many more prints posted on this site than at Etsy. Pricing options are broad, depending on size, need for a mat, need for framing, paper/metal/canvas base, etc., so please inquire for a price for the specifics you are interested.

Considerations for orders will include availability and pricing; prints on specialty papers; photo canvases; photos on metals; and all other photo products. Specific print sizes available will vary to some degree, depending on the aspect ratio, resolution, and cropping potential of the image you are interested in.

When considering print sizes, please understand that I almost always compose an image with the intent of printing it full frame, without cropping, with the rare exception of a square format. The resulting image aspect ratio is 2:3 (or 3:2), which is full frame for 35mm film and DSLR cameras. My fine art images look best without cropping, and thus, “full frame” print sizes such as 4×6, 8×12, 12×18, 16×24, 20×30, and so on best represent my artistic vision. Off the shelf frames with mats often require cropping because they are intended for different aspect ratios (commonly 5×7, 8×10, and 11×14), including those for point and shoot camera images. Alas, I do not generally find 8×10 and 11×14 formats aesthetically pleasing aspect ratios. In many cases, off the shelf frames with odd mat crops can still be used well, but an alternate mat may be needed to accommodate the full frame image. Additionally, floating frames, where an image “floats” between two layers of glass, can be  flexible when it comes to accommodating a variety of aspect ratios.

Fine Art prints may be purchased via cash, check, credit card, or PayPal. Delivery of unframed prints can generally be expected within one to two weeks of payment fulfillment; framed prints may take a little longer, depending on inventory on hand. Some prints are in stock, but many will be made to order. Delivery may be delayed an additional week if paying by check.
